Why Meditation Helps You Connect

Most of us live in our “outer self” all day:

A Simple Meditation to Meet Your Higher Self

Meet Her at the Doorway (7 Minutes)

  1. Set your space.Sit comfortably. Light a candle if you can. Place one hand on your heart.

  2. Breathe slowly.Inhale for 4… exhale for 6. Repeat 5 times.

  3. Speak an invitation.Whisper:“Higher Self… I am ready to hear you. I am ready to return.”

  4. Visualize a sacred doorway.Imagine a beautiful door in front of you—gold, white, or whatever feels divine.

  5. Open the door.On your next exhale, step through. Feel the energy shift.

  6. Meet her.See your Higher Self standing there. Notice how she looks. How she feels. How she holds you with her eyes.

  7. Ask one question.Choose one:

    • What do I need most right now?

    • What truth am I avoiding?

    • What is my next aligned step?

    • What am I ready to release?

  8. Receive.The answer may come as a word, an image, a feeling, or simply a deep sense of peace. Trust the first thing you receive.

  9. Close with gratitude.Whisper: “Thank you. I will listen.”

The Most Sacred Part: Integration

Meditation isn’t just about the moment you meet her.It’s about what you do afterward.

Try this gentle integration practice:

  • Write down what you heard (even if it felt subtle)

  • Choose one tiny action that honors the guidance

  • Repeat daily until your nervous system trusts your inner wisdom again

Because your Higher Self isn’t a “one-time visit.”She’s a relationship.
